Subject: [PATCH] Bluetooth: msft: fix slab-use-after-free in msft_do_close()
Date: Sat, 27 Apr 2024 01:19:35 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240427051934.879051-1-iam@sung-woo.kim> (raw)

Add refcnt to safely destroy hdev->msft_data.

How msft is used after freed:

[use]
msft_do_close()
  if (!msft)                      ...(1)
    return;
  mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock); ...(4) <- used after freed

[free]
msft_unregister()
  hdev->msft_data = NULL;         ...(2)
  kfree(msft);                    ...(3) <- msft is freed
