Subject: [ath9k-devel] CFT: ath9k_htc firmware update - new gcc compiler
Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2016 10:41:33 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAJ-VmonU6V=hn77=bdbDqHfVcY8wgKbugG5Wgc5XnFMzY7B69w@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

hiya,

Oleksij has gone and updated the ath9k-htc-firmware port to use the
latest gcc-6 compiler and updated binutils.

I'd like some further testing before we merge it into trunk.

https://github.com/qca/open-ath9k-htc-firmware/pull/93

He's gone and tested out STA mode - but we're not equipped to test AP,
IBSS and 11s mesh modes ourselves as easily.

Would anyone here be able to help test out this firmware? You should
be able to clone the tree and just follow the build instructions to
get firmware.

Thanks!
