Hi friends,

I've just installed successifully Ubuntu 14.04 on iMac 9.1 (Darwin).

The partitions are so suddivided:

|-EFI-FAT32-|---MAC-HFS+---|--/BOOT-EXT4--|----/ROOT-EXT4----|----/HOME-REISERFS-----|---SWAP---|

using rEFIT on sda and grub2 on sda3,
the default grub2 display mode is "submenu". Every entry are shown and
not only the first kernel.
Could be possible for a matter of boot time?

Infact rEFIt take 5secs for boot its entry (mac and linux), and then
other 5/6 secs for make visible the grub2 menu (submenu).

How could be possible to hide submenu if not necessary?

many many thanks!

davide
