Subject: Measuring mouse click and typing rate in X

Hi folks
I want to measure user’s typing rate and mouse click
rate in X environment. I am looking for the simplest
way to do this, i.e. minimal need of coding. I think
the most reasonable solution is an intterupt-driven
program. Is there any source code showing how to use
interrupts in a similiar application so that I can
adapt it for my purpose with least effort? If not,
what about any relevant logging capability that I can
read its log file each second to obtain this
statistics?
Thnx
