Subject: [PATCH 5.4] smb: client: fix potential OOBs in smb2_parse_contexts()
Date: Tue, 7 May 2024 22:54:45 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240507225445.25498-1-shaoyi@amazon.com> (raw)
From: Paulo Alcantara <pc@manguebit.com>
[ Upstream commit af1689a9b7701d9907dfc84d2a4b57c4bc907144 ]
Validate offsets and lengths before dereferencing create contexts in
smb2_parse_contexts().
This fixes following oops when accessing invalid create contexts from
server:
BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffff8881178d8cc3
#PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode
#PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page
