From c3d0e079729eedbccd6f8ddee0bdac9ae9fdcc6b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Wong Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2011 16:09:46 -0800 Subject: posix_mq 0.7.0 - cleanups + portability fixes This release now works for systems other than Linux and FreeBSD that support POSIX message queues. This is usable for systems without mq_timedsend() or mq_timedreceive() but with the non-timed variants (timeouts wont work). Thanks to Tadeusz Bochan for testing. Ruby posix_mq is now dual-licensed under the GPLv2 (as well as the preferred LGPLv3) for compatibility with existing GPLv2-only code. --- lib/posix_mq.rb | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib/posix_mq.rb') diff --git a/lib/posix_mq.rb b/lib/posix_mq.rb index b13bfda..72d6ebc 100644 --- a/lib/posix_mq.rb +++ b/lib/posix_mq.rb @@ -6,8 +6,10 @@ # See the link:README for examples on how to use it. class POSIX_MQ - # version of POSIX_MQ, currently 0.6.0 - VERSION = '0.6.0' + # version of POSIX_MQ, currently 0.7.0 + # This constant is deprecated and will be removed in the next + # release.
